Over the years, my girls, collies included have had to get on & most importantly know who is boss & that is ME!! The girls are & have been very good, they know if I am cross with them by my voice. The eldest girl in the pack is always boss, Meadow still is even though she is nearly 14. I won't let the others boss her. I cannot do with do gooders or so called "behaviourists" having dogs is common sense or should be. I feed the girls in what order I want, sometimes Truly is first, according to the "behaviourist" she should be last as she is the youngest. Also they would say the girls should not go on the furniture as by them being on there they are being boss over me!!!! I should eat before them, gawd tell Jasmine that :o)) I have heard a "behaviourist" tell the owners of 3 border collie brothers, who were a bit bolshy with each other to leave them together in a shed & let them sort themselves out!! NO, NO, one dog would be dead & the others badly injured. So glad the owners didn't take her advice. I feel there are too many puppies being born, too many puppy farms & do breeders really need another litter??? Plus all these stupid designer breeds like a Pomsky, that is a cross between a Pom & a Husky, all I can say is I hope the mother is the Husky. People breeding who make up a name & then find the breeds to make it, gets me so cross. Ah well off my soap box, there are a lot of lovely owners out there but there are an awful lot of awful ones too. Pics are of all my 8 munster girls.
