I am now standing on the south bank of the Thames looking back at St Paul's and the Millennium Bridge.

OH! Is THAT what the weird thing over the Thames is! I've seen it in a somewhat similar angle but never grasped what it was. Now I see and understand. This photo's a revelation for me. Also, the focal angle makes the modern foreground architecture look small while it makes St. Paul's appear large. Good use of your lens! This is really an interesting photo due to the juxtaposition of classical versus modern architecture. The spire to the left (almost hidden by the bridge) shows how huge St. Paul's actually is. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more! :-)

Wonderful architecture and sense of depth in this sepia-like capture, Carin. And quite a contrast between the more modern bridge and the ancient cathedral.
