Description
Heavy rains yesterday melted & washed away all the snow except for a few small patches here & there, but I have a couple of more snow photos to share. This is the view of our neighbor's fence from our front yard...
Please zoom.

I adore these snowy winter scenes and this one is no exception. Well composed and very soft on the eye! Please share some more. I miss the cold in London. We are now in mid-summer in South Africa and I much rather prefer winter!

I'm skipping ahead because I want to get to a few other people before I go to sleep...I'll get to the others I skipped here very soon...But this is another example of your 'design' shots, where you find a mix of things in nature or in architectural facades, or both (here, the fence is the architecture), and you coax out a complex, sometimes zen-like design. I love this. The starkness of the wall, the grays, the contrast of that tree/bush twisting its way up the fence, and topped off by snow-frosting on top; the two little bushes around it; the rocks with snow on them; the horizontals on top and bottom (and perpendiculars too) all add up to a really fine design. You do these intuitively and so well...wonderful shot. I'll be back for others soon---your moon over medford was quite a drama of light and dark and hue contrasts...I'll comment on it next time...
