Hello friends, today, the 10th January 2017, it is exactly one year ago that we lost a very fine artist - DAVID BOWIE. bowie lived here in Berlin from 1976 - 1978. In his memories he described this time as one of his finest - new friends, many new artistic influences, the contact with electronic music and their protagonists and people, who didn`t ask for autogram cards and famous stardom. He produced here some of his finest music albums..... Lets follow this ways a little while and remeber this talented musician and showman.... This badge here is situated at the house Potsdamer Strasse 135 in Berlin - Schoeneberg, where David Bowie and his comrade Iggy Pop rented a flat and lived together for a while. It was installed a few weeks after Bowies dead in summer 2016. The first badge was destroyed by vandals meanwhile, the City of Berlin installed a new one. "In this house lived from 1976 till 1978 DAVID BOWIE. In this time the albums "LOW", "HEROES" and "LODGER" were created.
