I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

what an awesome capture Rod. high quality work

Stunning and beautiful view! I can understand your frustration - though at times I really think those 'I-love-me' Jackets are such the fashion statement and worthy of investing a little time and effort..... lol!
Seeing photos and movies from your Inspire makes me want to dip into my funds and get one myself - now If I could only get the time to fly it.....
Take care and have a great evening - it's finally snowing like I want it to !
RodS
Yeah, I hear ya on the time thing, Mike! It hasn't been in the air since this was taken.
You could always opt for a Mavic or a Phantom 4 Pro... Not as pricey as an Inspire, but still capable of 4K video.. :-)

Fascinating photo! I think I see you (had to take out a magnifying glass - is it my vision, or the distance in the photo?). Nice image of the bluff! I wonder what geological forces created it. And I wonder what fossil remains may be hidden in it! The strata are clearly visible. Must be a calm day, or you're very daring (I'm thinking of the drone's safety - not falling into the river from a sudden gust of wind! Or crash landing on the opposite shore.). Seems a nice, warm day. More photos like this? As to warm and nice weather, here it's windy (over 50 mph winds from Scotland and the North Sea), some rain, cold, damp. Probably snow storm late today or tonight. Winter's back! Aka global warming. God must be having a load of fun at those peoples expense (HA! I control the weather!). I'm also figuring on retirement this fall, IF things go right! Keep up the good work! :-)

This is so cool, Rod! Wow what fantastic clarity. What a beautiful area too.
I hope you're feeling better, buddy. I would love to write you a prescription for everything that ails you, but I am not a doctor and I do not want to go to jail! LOL. I hope that laughter is the best medicine! Take care, my friend.

Hope you feel better. Rod. I myself have been sick lately for several days and I so jacked up my backs pinched nerve by moving wrong three days ago. It's beyond pain. I also hope you do retire bro, wish I could cause can't work or play with what I have with the back and some kind of sickness. Great shot and waiting like others for the next installment in T.N.A. now I'll try and get outside and have a cig if my numb legs and back that's wasted will make it that far. Get well my friend.

Gorgeous photo! Hope the work situation eases up before you crack. It's hard to use a keyboard in a straight-jacket.

Oh, I don't know..... I suppose one could get used to using their nose.... LOL The mouse or Wacom might be a bit of a challenge, though....:-D

Often times the thing that makes or breaks a job are people, not the work. That seems to be the weak link in everything we do, us. That's why I sometimes think the best thing to do is maybe to get as far away from this mess as possible.
Dang son, you have a lot of rock down there. We got dirt. Just dirt. Wanna build a house? Dirt. Wall? Dirt. Ziggurat to heavens? Dirt. That oil of ours you're burning down there in 'merica? Fooled you, it's Essence of Dirt. Eau de Dirt! I had to travel 200 miles before I saw stone lol. (That's actually true). Dirt. It's great for potatoes, not so much for scenery.

just hang in there for retirement. it be worth hanging in there. very good job on the photo

work...nuff said lol Great scene, love to come visit with my drone and camera's and let you run the tour lol hard to find cool stuff without people getting in the way lol
calico_jester
fantastic view, and I would be most tempted to explore the house nononononononononono ! :)
RodS
That's a huge and beautiful house up there - wish it was mine! LOL I keep my distance from houses - I expect people tend to get upset when they look out their windows and see a drone looking back! :-O

Leilana
Wow! Thats great! Have a wonderful new year :)

I always enjoy a good pun and some interesting geology. That must be you on the trail down there. After all these years, fall is not that far away. Just think of all the free time you'll have at Christmas. Looking forward to some more TnA. Oh. I believe that's T.N.A.
RodS
TnA in T.N.A.? Now where would anyone get that idea?

The only reason I didn't comment on this when it went up was my stupid dental work. But I'm really sorry you're going through so much at work, and for so long. I know you've been talking about retiring, and if you can do it, that's great. That gives the next months a kind of "countdown," which I hope makes them more tolerable. There comes an age where we just shouldn't have to deal with these things anymore: We should've earned the right to 'not' to. I wish you the very best in doing it, and doing it the way you want.
Re the pic: I don't understand drone photography, meaning I don't know what you do to set it up, how you interact with it, etc. But even if you said this was totally out of your hands, it has an awful lot of you in it: The detail, the sweep, the balance, the 'generosity'---you want me to explain 'generosity'? How do I explain! I mean your sense of giving us so much in a single shot. Some of your landscapes are just generous, they give us so much of what you saw, in detail as well as actual sweep and vision. I don't know a better word. And I love the contrast of those bright stones (and road) with the dark fall trees. I assume you work on these afterwards; the contrasts are marvelous. LOve the shot. And love that that's you down there. (You could be giving us the finger, for all I know!) Terrific shot, and I hope you have much better days in front of you, and soon. Sorry it's been so hard.
renecyberdoc
you got to prepare yourself for retirement ,you know the eventual "kiss my butt"attitude, medical visit, day off and so on. and dont you dare working your ass off the last few months because you will never get a thank you in return, on the contrary as soon as you leave they will forget about you and say "good that the old fart is gone"
Savage_dragon
Such a gorgeous shot, I had to look again to see the house. :)
wparrott1
Stunning shot. Beautiful bluff. So sorry about the job. Hope you get to retire and enjoy more of life.
Diemamker
Cool shot!... shows some of the cool things one can do with these drones. I just hope no one came up to you and told you that you couldn't fly it here... it seem that more places are becoming no fly zones...
one of these days I got to get one...
pixeluna
Such a breathtaking image, Big Bro! Thanks for sharing this image with us. :-)
velleman
Quite interesting capture, splendid whole view (apart from the ..).

Your picture makes me homesick for the midwest! I love the sandstone of the prairie.
And yes, you know I'm going to get on your a$$ about retirement until you actually do it! :P It's because I love you that I do these things. Mwaaahaahaahaahaaaaa!
KatesFriend
Such rugged beauty. As for retirement, I've got at least 15 years ahead of me.
