Description
I posted one of these before: These are from my music files, showing that I cartooned over everything years ago. My music teachers were not amused.
(The top is from a score of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony---if you know anything about Beethoven, you know he definitely wouldn't appreciate this...
The bottom one is my copy of a Bach chorale-prelude, "O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde groß". Not on the Top 40, I realize, but it's actually a great piece. Copying masterpieces was common, btw: It helped bring you into the music. And Bach wouldn't appreciate these either!)
That's all!
Thanks for your wonderful visits!!!
Mark

Haha, amusing. I used to get reprimanded for drawing on everything too :)

Your doggie doodles are adorable. Even doggies appreciate a little Beethoven and Bach. My doxie, Slinky, used to howl like crazy whenever she heard opera. Even if she was sleeping. When opera came on, she would sing along in her sleep.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA!!! OMG, those howling dogs at the top of Beethoven's 9th are absolutely hilarious! Oh, I can just picture Ludwig throwing those sheets on the floor and storming out of the room. These are so much fun, Mark! I love it!
This takes me back to my grade school days.... I'd get bored with the teacher's droning on about whatever (it usually took about 10 seconds), and stuff would start appearing in the notebook margins, or whatever hand-out she had given us. Little guys shooting arrows or throwing spears at each other... Airplanes flying around....... More little guys throwing knives at a cartoon version of the teacher.... or whatever happened to fall out of my mind at the moment. Kinda like now, only with more tools!![😆](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/4.5/png/32/1f606.png)
This is wonderful, Mark!

Those pups have it all over me, they can read music and I can't. Maybe they're singing "How much is that doggie in the window." Or, how about "I'm nothin but a hound dog." Bach and Beethoven must have been spinning in their graves when they saw what you did to their sacrosanct preludes and symphonies. Blasphemy in its purest form! I believe O Mensch means Oh Man. But I digress. Funny, amusing, droll, and whimsical offering, Mark. Play on.

I like it that you skipped a staff and let your cartoons have it all for themselves.
I think you should slip that conductor's score into some maestro's folder just before a big concert. Imagine his face when he turns the page, baton flying, arms swinging, and sees those singing dogs! LOL!
