after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

I told Rod, in his gallery, that one of these days I'm gonna try a magazine cover, lol. (I used to do posters and brochure covers, which are similar; and they were a great deal of fun.) But they're also a lot of work, and your covers must take real work; yet they show none of the labor, but all of the love. Another delightful cover from you. The lady is positioned perfectly; and a magazine editor would give you kudos for her pose: Leaning forward, staring right at us, grabbing our attention as if to say---"are you out there???" Great light on her, and more of your attention to outfit, facial decoration and so on. You use fonts really well (it's not easy to choose and manage so many typefaces in one space), and you allow plenty of open space too. I think I see a Jane dog down there (and cat too?), and I always love how you honor other artists each month, and the ways you do it. I like the blue-green-beige tone too, and the clock in the background---you've used clocks in a number of pieces recently, and you've used them wonderfully. Great job once again. I hope everyone zoomed---it blooms full size!

The French Maid never goes out of style. Excellent rendering. I love her expression and bearing. She could be a lot of trouble.
