Description
Fritz in my bed.
He is still eating and happy and in no apparent pain, although frail and bony. He is a lucky boy, as if the vet had been open on 2nd January he might no longer be with us. He rallied overnight and had a reprieve.
You can see the start of cataract clearly here, but it doesn't affect his appetite or interest in smells !

ditto the above, and I second Mark. The photo, full size, shows the gentle radiance of his coat, as well as his eye. And it's a sweet portrait of Fritz at rest. I hope he's comfortable and happy and stays with you as long as he can. Your dogs have become part of our lives, and everyone feels for them. Love the portrait.
