Love the softness of this portrait even though you had to add blur to hide the excessive grain. Sickleyield has written a good tuturial on getting started with Iray also a youtube video (I assume you are rendering in Iray as a poor 3Delight render is just blurry not grainy) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5FZ5gS9v50 Hope this helps with your grain problem :)

Can't say I've had grain problems with DAZ, but then, I do render with Octane. You do have fairly good detail here though.

This has just the right amount of softness to add beauty to this already wonderful image! Excellent work

Gorgeous!

She looks lovely! I tried to use DAZ once and it was so confusing I never tried again. I figure with all the V4 stuff I have, I could go for years and not buy another thing and still not use it all.

Lol, me too. I have lots of stuff I have bought for V4 over the years and not even used yet. :)

I assume this is iray engine, right ? The noise/grain is when an area didn't get enough samples (not rendered enough, I mean), it really depends of the light you use. I got more of less the same thing when using photometrics spotlights (some areas on the character were totally grainy, while other were not). In that case, I think your only bet is to let the scene render longer.
It's hard to explain things in a few words about all this :) , but just remember there are several other lighting options : HDRs, meshlights.
Looks great, btw ! :)

Beautiful character and scene setup - the corrections you made look great! I use DS but they keep changing it so always need to relearn how to use it lol!! Nothing wrong with sticking with V4!!!
