Description

Mandelbulb3Dv1.8.9 / PsCs2 Just a quick Frac to say Well It's done...went in Tues Jan,10 for the Hip Replacement and got out of the Hospital Saturday Jan, 14. The Dos told if everything went smooth it would take about 2 hrs...it took 4...it was 11am when I went into Surgery I woke up in Recovery about 4PM in a whole lot of Pain but on a Morphine Pump that let me get a Morphine hit about every 15 mins for the first 36 hours and I did believe me. My Ortho Surgeon said when he got in and got a closer look not just X-Rays he knew it was going to be a real Biatch and it was, need a Bigger Hammer and a whole lot more Epoxy, instead of 2-3 days we were looking at 3-5 Days before I could get out. Doc said if he never sees another Hip as bad as that one he'll be a happy camper, I'll definitely take his word for it, by the time I was off the Morphine Drip and on Lortabs for pain they had me doin PT Exercises and learning how to Navigate with a Walker I knew it wouldn't be long now. Sat morning they had me doing some steps with the walker and set me up with some equipment to modify Shower and Toilette access they cut me loose just after noon, sure good to be home, Still hurts but the mobility thing should work itself out it's the only time it hurts is when I'm working it out, no more pain just sitting there,it's amazing how much being Pain Free changes your attitude, really glad this is over, hoping to kick the Walker to the curb in 3 weeks and then 4-6 weeks kick the Cain to the curb and be walking normal in 8 weeks or so. Thanks for the l@@k I'll be around a bit more in the future

Great to see you back here Len, I'm happy to hear it all went well. I wish you a quick recovery with no more pain at all. Cool render for that theme, although I doubt your hip replacement part looks like that. Guess it would rather increase pain if this form would be implanted. ;) Looks flexible though!

congrats on your recovery. a man that I used to work for fell in his secluded patio and broke his hip. he laid there for 3-4 hours before someone heard his calls. when he was in the hospital the surgeon said that both of his hips needed replacement and the same time. he called me and asked me to remove his inside circular staircase and replace with a straight style so he would be able to go to his second floor bedroom. also install heavy duty brass handrails on the walls. he had almost 100% recovery
