yes, with the above comments, a giant creature-foot; but you've also treated the leaves almost as fabric, lit-up fabric; it's luminous and frilly, and makes wonderful contrast to that huge thick dark 'foot'. The saturated oranges of the ground---I assume also from your work with the hues---is a strong warm 'base' to the shot. There are many ways of treating a photo, and, in pieces of yours like this, you show great penetration into the 'inner nature' of the hues at hand, the shapes, the light, etc. Your coaxing never leaves the subject, but intensifies it, brings out its inner energies. This may sound odd, but I feel a similar pull in my better writing, an intensification of everything (if I'm not going all-fantasy). I resonate with your work that way, among several other ways. And the trunk looks like it spilled into the shot with a ginormous "thud". (Ka-boom.)
