It kept echoing through her head like a screaming demon chorus line.
But now? Finally? J-Chill would shut the hell up once and for all.
"Well, Funny Boy," Happi snarled down on him, "any last words?"
"Please," Chill pleaded with her. "Please don't mess my stage like this, Happi."

Her mouth dropped open empty.
What an odd request.
And for that one brief moment? She almost felt sorry for him. But then she laughed. Happi threw her head back
and laughed and laughed and laughed the screaming demon chorus line out of her head. And she would grant him
this one last peculiar request. But only because Plan B would be a lot less messy. And a lot more showbiz.

For some strange reason, a scene in the movie "Goldfinger" comes to mind.... The one where Bond is strapped to a table with a laser inching toward his more sensitive areas... He asks Goldfinger "Do you expect me to talk?" to which Glodfinger replies, "No, Mr. Bond! I expect you to die!"
This could be a variation of that scene.... "Do you expect me to talk, Happi?" "No! I expect you to SHUT UP!! Then die!" That would make a mess on the stage indeed!
