Description

Here's the chronicle of a work process First I started out with the idea that I'd do a project where there are nine people on a subway each wearing a different color. The assignment was to create a picture showing the steps from green to red (mixing complements so each color is a different combination of red/green until it's a neutral). So I decided to use my mom and dad as models. And then I nearly gave up on the detailed one and started a less complex drawing. This was today's second attempt to go back to the original idea--btw that's my brother and Josh (left to right) added to the picture. And this is the final painted result! Ok so what I did was I sketched out the people then scanned them in and printed them out. Then I painted the print out (as to save my sketch ) And now I'm going to cut this out and mount it on a piece of white posterboard. Whew :p

I could repeat what juprez said, but I like it even more than he does. The concept is interesting and the naked structure empowers it a lot, with the lackin of proper background they are almost suspended in a no dimension, but alive on their faces. Great work to me.
