after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Fantastic job! As for what the future holds, only God knows. Hope for the best while you prepare for the worst. (The reality will probably fall somewhere in between.)

What an amazing image! I can definitely relate to all the work that went into this - and the result is well worth it. Most excellent, Steve! I like the alternate view showing how you laid it out - quite clever, buddy!

I've always assumed that your work took time, and I wish I understood Poser better so I could appreciate all that goes into a piece like this. I can imagine it, but don't know the specifics. I saw the different angle you posted (in a comment above), and it just fascinates me no end; I don't have a clue how you maneuver these things, I just know that it must take patience, time, discipline, and vision. Creative vision.
I love the texture of the wall behind her, the varying light on all sides, the soot or grime on that back-wall, and the shadow on her--esp in her eyes--that make her look sinister, mysterious, enticing. Zoom brings out everything---and I mean full zoom, 2 clicks (it took up my whole monitor, lol). I love the choice of floral decoration on the edges, and the metal plaque for the money---great light on it, and fine detail too. And her skin and the symbols on it are enticing and enchanting too. Terrific work, Steve; I don't know how it's done, but I can definitely see how demanding it is. The result is beautiful and mysterious.
