Description
with many interruptions, I have the ceiling painted. I had to make some drywall repairs. when the house was built the drywall installer caused a crack in the drywall around an AC vent. all they done was pretended it was not there and textured over it. several years ago it appeared. I decided to wait until I painted the room

Very beautiful landscape and atmosphere.
You sure a handy man Richard, saving a truck load of bills doing your own repairs inside and out of your home.
Guessing the upgrades make your place look new, great job.

Beautiful view!

Oh I remember sanding drywall. Man what a dull job, but definitely better than installing it. Blech. Worst stuff I ever had to repair and paint over was that old plaster stuff. from turn of the century buildings. God help you if someone punched through the slats and you had to fix it.
I love the nw US. It's very beautiful and dramatic countryside.

I was a bit luckier than you. The walls in my office were good to go with a cleaning and dusting, then a fresh coat of paint. I hated having my computer disconnected! Awesome shot here. What is causing those huge long shadows?

Cool capture - always some home repairs to do - I'm not good with drywall but the spray textures covers my amateur fixes.

A very lovely photo, Richard! The shadows falling across the foreground give it a wonderful feel.
Yeah, you always find all kinds of extra little things to fix when you work on the house..

Another highly refined shot of the beautiful landscapes you see...I'm with Rod on those shadows, they're terrific there. And the clarity of the trees, with the bare ground above them---and the sky---a very restful layered shot. And the light is toned with golden and deep yellows, like a fall scene. Really fine work, Richard. Your landscapes are one glass of the finest wine after the next...
