Description
The statues representing the soldiers serving in the Korean War. In this image, the foreground soldier carries the tripod for a 50cal. machine gun, the rear solder is carrying the ammo, and the solder on the right can be seen with the top of the barrel of the 50cal slung on his shoulder. These statues are among the most impressive items on the Washington Mall. I took this picture while my father [WWII-Vet.] and I were on an Honor Flight.
