Description

Acrylic inks blown with a straw and puddled etc. on shiny A4 card. An experiment, they don't blow as well as shellac inks, but I suppose you can add water!

As John Cleese used to say, "And now for something completely different." Charming and humorous, it brought to mind a song recorded by Lee Ann Womack, "I Hope You Dance".

Love what you do with blown-inks. Yes, shellac inks are better for this, but you got real body in these creatures: Undersea, insects, and just your imagination. Love all the antennae that end in "dots". A big tangle, formed by dancing creatures, in moving liquid. I'll be sure to tell Helle about this, this is the type of stuff she loves mess with. Terrific job, Andrea. I didn't mean to do nothing but 2D, tonight, but I started with it, so I thought I'd go all the way. The deep reds and greens here make really strong contrasts. Love it!

(To end, more links---you're gonna hate me!---but these are Saul Steinberg again, with one of his great insect drawings. They remind me of yours. The rest are just his playing around---he had some things in common with you, for sure, so here are a few:
