splendid! If you'd told me you were going to douse this in a luminous green, I'd have wondered how it would look: But, like all your intuitions, it looks smashing. It gives the piece an intense summery feel, and the red of the woman's top--with her shock-white hair, and bright shorts---are great contrasts. (As are her bag, shoes, and her shadow---bravo on the shadow! Totally 'cut out' of the photograph...) She walks towards civilization, while the sky is a deep aqua-green...
It's one of your wholly intuitive pieces which defy explanation, but feel just right. And perfect for Yves, who's only been here on occasion lately. Happy Birthday, Yves! You're right, Brigitte, he's one of our best, most stylish and fine painters; he has a style all his own. I hope you're having a fine birthday, Yves! Love the photo, Brigitte: Great choices here.
