Description

Are we still a "Nation of Immigrants?" Or have we reached a point where it's "Us" versus "Them?" Do we no longer welcome those who GENUINELY seek a better life? Those wanting to live in peace in a more stable land, as opposed to those who want to terrorize us? America, we're supposed to be better than this. We can protect our borders, but still have some measure of compassion. Trump has gone too far with this executive order, and he needs to back off from it. Very powerful work, Wes, and a very impressive image!

Something a little offbeat came to mind. This made me recall a comedian doing a skit about watching the news and seeing all horrible stuff. So he went to the window. The sun was shining. The birds were chirping. And there was nothing at all terrible happening out there. It didn't mean there wasn't anything terrible happening anywhere, but you know what they say about good news. Good news doesn't sell newspapers. That's just what popped into my head. 😃

Excellent composition, buddy!!!

Very moving image, Wes. The whole world is in a sad state.... But the sun will come again in the morning... And the next.. We must never give up hope that things will improve.

On this website, we have artists from all over the planet. And while we all don't always agree on everything, we have one thing that the world leaders, and some fanatical groups need to learn. Tolerance. Understanding. It's pretty simple, really... And not all that difficult to do. We are all made from the same stardust.

If the sun no longer shines on this planet, it has other ones more deserving to brighten! We have brought this on ourselves by allowing the lawless greedy to take control of our lives! A most excellent image! Wonderful work!

One thing he managed to do is bring real humans to the surface. It's kinda heartening to see so many people reacting to all this hate.

I totally agree with you here... and not only that, the countries he chose to ban, have not once attacked us here in the US... still the ones that caused 9/11 where not ban... funny huh! could it be that ( T Dump ) didn't add them because he has business deals with them... hmmm...

This is only the beginning!!
