Description

I think some one did some sculpture work . look at the hand complete with fingernail on the thumb. I see at least two faces probably helped by locals

Impressive rock formations and a marvelous capture! Can see some faces with long noses and wonder about the special light green color on the rocks caused by the sun? 🤔

it was caused by minerals running down from the mountain above

Fascinating. You may be right about the locals expressing themselves.

Now that you said it and I have look for it longer, I see it also. Is the sandstone?

I am thinking that is is limestone and water has eroded most of what is seen

Fantastic capture! The more I look the more I see. The big cracked rock looks like it has an open mouth with a few sharp teeth in it. What beautiful stone! Beautiful shot, my friend!

Interesting formations, that looks like sandstone or something like. It reminds me a bit of the area around Drumheller.

yes, it definitely does look like someone sculpted these. But they did it in harmony with the landscape. I can see all you're talking about...and actually, it looks like a weather-worn artifact from an ancient civilization. I know it's not, but it really does feel that way. And the photograph is another of your sensitive and finely detailed pics, with a great slope, lots of scintillating rock and pebble detail, and wonderful detail on the larger rocks, etc. Composition---perfect. Terrific piece again.

As eekdog suggested, these might be _super_natural formations. This might be a place with a great deal of paranormal activity; one may not want to spend the night here!

Well, maybe I'm just having an overactive imagination. :)
