Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us. Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!

Superb capture and dedication. I do not know him as an artist here at Renderosity. Sorry to hear of his passing. God bless.

Thank you. He was a great and talented person. I looked up to him and followed his advice. We laughed about Papyrus font as everyone seemed to favor that font one year. :-)

I didn't know Duncan, but knew of him, and I know he was a fine artist, illustrated books, he was a musician, and a writer, and quite fine. I know he had a gallery here which I saw several times. I was always impressed with his work, and also his comments: He didn't know me, but I saw his comments in your gallery and in a few other galleries, and they were always very earnest, insightful and caring. One stopped for his comments, they were so genuine. He had a presence...I'm very sorry for his loss, and thank you for letting us all know. My sympathies to you and all the others who lost him. If anyone wants to know, his gallery is here: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/?uid=61825. "May flights of angels sing him to his rest..."

Thank you, Mark! It was a shock to many. He had warned us he was going "dark" for a while on facebook due to health issues. The time stretched on and I realized he was overdue on his reappearance. :-( I believe his daughter commented on a thread and that was my first clue.
