First, your doorstep photo is worthy of RR too: It's a big abstract, I love it. With the hues of the mat (a mat I assume), it's a terrific layered abstract. Second, "Road Edge" sounds a little like "Road Rage". (Don't know why I said that, but it came to mind.) Third, in zoom this is a big melange of cracked forms and stark color contrasts, and that strange metal plank on the bottom---these things become exotic and otherworldly, when you do closeups and postwork. They become the strange objects they really are. Love this whole series. And there's real purple pebbles on top too. Send some to Chicago: All we have is gray.
