Description

This image was taken on the Salisbury Plains in the UK very close to the historic Stonehenge. The traffic slowed down to a stop and I shot this out the car window on this very foggy day.

Wonderful foggy landscape. The last (& only) time I visited Stonehenge was almost 50 years ago - I loved the British countryside - you could feel the centuries of history in the fields...

Salisbury steak is a hamburger dish served in the United States. Whenever I see the words Salisbury Plain I imagine a landscape covered in brown gravy. This is a wonderful foggy image. Your sense of composition is exceptional.

lol, Mark (wysiwig)---and I agree with his compliment. The shot is a pure moment, fog with clarity of object and hue, the composition is wonderful, the sense of murky space is lush. And the overall feel is of a dream mixed with great clarity. Beautiful work on all accounts.

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. Not only is there the fog, you have the counterpoint of the fence and the red and green piece of equipment. It gives such a wonderful contrast!!
