Description

Sometimes it doesn't take much to get me going! I posted a picture of a gourd the other day, and Rod said, "With a little imagination - and some Photoshop foolery - this gourd could be cut out and placed in a space background as an alien planet. It would be quite convincing!" Here ya go, Rod! Actual space photos are from NASA. Gourd photo is mine. Everything else is Photoshop legerdemain.

AAAAAHHAAAAA!!!! Ya did it!!!!! I love it!! See... I told you it would make a great planet - and you took the ball (or gourd) and ran with it! LOL Great job with this, Tara!

Of course, now you know I'm gonna have to add a little something..... 😉

With Claude, it's great to see a creative reaction to a comment...Great job, Tara. This is splendid. It's totally natural, even though it's two sources. (Does NASA have an RR gallery?) (Wouldn't it be great if they they posted pinups? Or drawings of cute puppies?) You really made a true sphere of your oblong gourd; and the decay truly looks like continents, tectonic stuff, and so on. It's a great planet. And do I see Earth in the upper left corner, about 2 inches down (full size)? Terrific job. Maybe I'll come up with something, I'll try! I love how you do this here, transforming other people's images. If others follow suit, it's what it's all about. Love it!
