That was yesterday: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door." And maybe tomorrow: Per Decree, I have to leave the United States, and must return to France.

So sad. We will find our way once again. Even though we are not perfect, and our open arms are torn asunder in sad times, we will find our way back. It's who we are as a people.
