Description
Amazing how much faster brightly lit images render! Done in one night! Also learned about using HDRi images as lighting, sooo cool!
The model is a cross between pix-Alondra & PS-Syri from the Daz store
The Hell Horse and weapon are freebies from Summoner at fantasiesrealm.com I don't think I loaded all the surface stuff for the horse, he's shinier then he was in the promo. Maybe it's just my lighting? It's made for poser and it was stated that you had to add some stuff manually, but it was techno speak above my pay grade so far. :D I did look but it looked like everything was on right, but I'm sure I missed something. Feel free to educate me!
The Back wall and the clothing were both freebies from Aeon Soul that someone sent me a link to, and the amazing way back machine allowed me to download them. Got to love the internet, nothings gone forever.
I wasn't sure what gallery to put it into but Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction is a subgenre of science fiction...... So yea, I put it there. :)

Great image. Love the horse You didn't indicate which render engine you are using, Iray or 3Delight. Based on the results, I am guessing Iray. It can make a huge difference in the way you deal with the textures. I converted the default textures on the horse to Iray by applying the Iray Uber Base shader. From there you can play around with the Glossy settings to change the shininess. With only two material zones, it is difficult to get really creative.

Yes, Iray. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain that to me. I haven't dealt much with shaders yet, there's so much to learn all at once!!! I guess that will be the next thing I dive into. :) The horse is fantastic, thank you for letting us all know where you got it from on your piece. Summoner's freebies are exceptional! Now also really good to use to practice learning about shaders with.
