Description

A doodle on lined paper with fineliner. I must have done the colour later. I don't remember anything about the occasion, at least I occupied my time productively! It was obviously a school do from the ruled paper. I wonder how many hours a day we humans collectively waste in meetings. And I wonder what fraction of those hours actually achieve something. And here I am, wasting more time thinking about it!

there was that Python skit about putting things on top of other things (the futility of meetings)...A real crowd of faces, great characters, a person in the center whose face is on a tilt and is in half shadow like a harlequin, lots of cross hatch---you use the vertical lines as a cue here---and the front person, with that red, knocks it out of the park. Intense work, a real gathering: I love this sketch.

lol the others are protected by the crowd but the one in foregrounf is ashamed of his staring because he is out of the crowed and alone! Top and provocating artwork 😃
