Not only do I feel like I just got culture? I just had a fantasy about picking those lights off their bodies with my teeth. LOL! Jeez oh this is beautiful! That draped fabric is incredible! Wonderful and wondrous scene, Dee! Fabulous stage production!

great to see the praises lavished on your visions...they're deserved. I love these characters, the ones with the dots on them. (Ok, when I was a kid, there were these hard candies that were stuck to paper, and you bit them off and ate them---I think that's what ZigZag321 is referring to.) You have real ballet forms here, esp in the middle lady and right-side lady. These are the kinds of gyrations that ballet dancers have to do. (I never studied, but knew a number of ballet and modern dancers as a classical musician.) And you have the intense 'meeting' of them in center stage, and relating through movement rather than through words. Your concept is all intuition again: Gold with huge light on them, the hues of the beads, those wings, the mirrored balls---all conceivable in a theatrical production, but still entirely from your inner eye. And a pianist in back with a flowing gown, something you see in concert pianists. (An old girlfriend of mine used to say, "who can walk in those monsters!") With a painted backdrop---as in theater---and that intense theatrical lighting. (No other lighting like it, which you know, if you've been in theater: concentrated, brilliant, and surrounded by a sea of darkness.) Love the gold trim on the curtains too...Wonderful imagination, realized with your complete panache and skill. Theatrical magic.
