Oh my word - I looked at all the images of the ice storm now and it is spectacular if not a little scary! I immediately thought of the movie 2012.

Nice capture of the ice hanging down from one railing to another. And the "beard" on the boat makes me think of the Wagner opera "The Flying Dutchman"! This type of ice build up occurred often on ships in convoy to Murmansk. The arctic sea was extremely violent and if the ice wasn't removed there was a risk of a ship becoming too top heavy and capsize. This was very cold, dangerous hard work. Keep up the good work! :-)
