NOW it comes, the snow. Last night it looked so nice so I went out and photographed these (thumb nail and big image). But it was bitterly cold. With a slight wind to drive it home. Today it snowed all day, small flakes. And biting cold. I took several photos today on my way to work. I'll be posting some of them in a while.
The Polish man who works as care taker and construction worker at my job said it was minus 13 degrees Celcius (8 degrees Farenheit) in Poland today, and windy and biting cold. The biting is due to the moisture in the air.
The rock is one of several keeping drivers from running over the lawn when the gate is closed. However, people use them as seats while waiting for a taxi or a lift.
Enjoy! And be glad you're indoors! :-)

Snow is lovely stuff as your photo proves. I just don't like shoveling or driving in it! Snow flurries here in Missouri today!

Wow. I live in California, where if it drops down to the 30's we start panicking and running around yelling "ice age!"
Poor rock, it looks so lonely, with all that frozen grass to keep it company.......I'm going to go have a mug of hot chocolate and draw something warm...like a nice, well endowed naked lady....BRRRRRR.... Ed.

Brrrrrr.... Now that is cold! It makes for a lovely shot, but that's way too cold to do anything outside!
Wonderful photo!

The Rock of Ages as it looks during a snow storm. Most interesting, the photo, the narration, and all. Stay warm.
