Hellen Hunt Falls is a place in Cheyenne Canyon in the west side of our city. But does not look like this beautiful setting.

Well, Steve, I'm back for a short visit, and I begin tonight with your gallery. I was talking to Tara/auntietk the other night, and telling her what I think is so special about your work. I couldn't get out all the words. But one of the things I said was that no matter what the subject, you always have such a 'complete' vision, a whole contained world. Hard to describe it, but you devote your all to each image so it becomes this unique one-of-a-kind expression. And I said each image always exerts 'magic'. I'd never seen an image of yours that didn't have a special magic.
Commenting on this brings the point home. This woman is filled with your usual magic touches---the design all over her face and body, the reds and light grays of those designs; the great headgear and hair (another thing you do so well); the wonderful 'accessories' (her necklace, bracelets, etc). That great detailed sword, and her reflection in it---great touch. And how she stands in front of this huge falls. She 'frames' it, where she stands. Quite a rushing background, but she seems to be its guardian. Another playful, terrific piece from you, chock full of wonderful detail. And 'playful' is another quality I mentioned, about your work. Even in your darker images, you play...
