Description

Early this morning Fritz became very unwell, and didn't even want breakfast, which is unheard of. So I sat up with him till it the vets opened and at noon I took all three down there and we did the deed. Rosie knew he was ill and in this photo you can see her doing her best to show solidarity until it was time to leave. She examined the body very carefully and understands he is not here anymore. I don't think Ralph could care less! PLEASE do not feel sorry for me : I have had 18 dogs so far and am well used to death from old age or illness. Fritz made it clear it was time. OH! That beautiful little doggie couldnt live any longer. It is so sad to say good bye to our pets. He lived a long and wonderful life with you, so he was very lucky. Good to think about, when he is no more. Even though he isnt home, he will still live in your memories. That is a good thing :) Hugs.

I can see in Fritz's face that bless him he was ready to go to rainbow bridge. I always let my animals see the one who has passed then they are not looking for them.

Poor fellow, what was he, fifteen or sixteen? I've come to hate winter. Just about everyone I've lost has died in winter. And this is three for me since I started visiting your gallery, Hettie, Buster and now Fritz. You can't help but miss their unique personalities. My sincere condolences, Andrea.

I came out of my absence to bow to Fritz's wonderful life and all the happiness he brought you, and to your other dogs. He became family for us, even though we weren't there and didn't do any of what you did for him. And it may sound silly, but I'm grateful to have 'met' him...through you. Sweet condolences to you and your dogs. Thank you for bringing him into our lives...
