Description

Trumpets, Souzaphones and drums were just a few of the instruments used in celebrating the 50th birthday anniversary of my city, captured way back in August of 2007. These young musicians must be in their mid or latter 20s by now.

kudos on knowing those are sousaphones. Weird instruments, aren't they! Another finely composed parade shot, with a visual 'peak' in the center, and tapering off on the sides. And the blue shirts are set off by that near white stucco in the background. The picture flows. Plus, those are wild drums on the right---not the vertical ones, far right, but the flat ones in front of them. I've not seen drums cut off like that. Fine mix of verticals and horizontals. A fine shot, Harry.
