Description

Something a little different, just for fun. Took a photo of a brass beetle I picked up somewhere many years ago (it's probably about 6 inches long & it's back lifts up to reveal a hidden compartment) & then played with creating a background for it using Perfect Effects (lots of layers), as well as a separate set of layers for the bug itself... Please zoom.

Terrific playful treatment, the "burst" of your background makes it look like the bug splashed into a star or super nova. The ancients (some of whom revered beetles) would've approved of the sun-like celebration, as well as the striking icon-like presence of the creature himself. A real explosion. Love it.
