Ethereal Beauty - Poem by Jacob Berg Absorbed into a serene slumber, the Angel rests her tired soul. Eyes closed, deep breaths rising and falling in her chest, She wanders further into the lucid forest, Her spirit serving as Her guide to the heavens. I reach out- a gently trembling hand seeking Her silky flesh. With a pause, hesitant, my fingers glide over Her back, each stroke bringing another step forward to bliss. Beauty with such purity is a rare sight in this world- Love manifested into human form, perhaps. Do I, mere shameful mortal I am, deserve to be graced with Her presence? A goddess fallen from the ethereal plains, a hazy amnesia obscuring her true nature; a Queen in her own right. Perhaps it's fate, my path being crossed by this revered being, a being for whom my soul burns with each loving caress, who possesses a power over my spirit previously unseen, unknown. Ashen lips, pursed in a shy kiss, connect to Her linen cheek- eyes closed, shallow breaths rattling throughout my chest, I jettison from this realm unto Hers.
