Hi and welcome all. My real name is James Thornton. I'm just some boring guy in a dead end job trying to create art in this digital media of 1's and 0's....vertices and polygons....splines and nurbs. I just hope when people veiw my art that they contemplate how it was created and what was the motivation i was feeling for that particular image.

Ok, this is where i ramble on about my experience in this media and such. So, i will start by telling you the programs i use....poser4....vue d'espirit....cinema 4d.....rhino3d....3d studio max.....bryce5....deeppaint3d.....adobe photoshop7....paintshop pro7....along with a variety of utility programs. I have been working in 3d now for about 3 years. Started out just confused and figuring i would never get it. But i was hooked from day one and am now a full fledged addict. I consider myself a late bloomer since i am 37 years old. But, my imagination is fresh and young:)

Nice:) It's good to see when the character actaully has some kind of interaction with the background (noting the shadow) I see a lot of pics that would look a lot better if they just added a shadow when it's needed.

I agree with Ayperi, I like the simpleness of this image and and the reality it transmits... Great work!

Looks like a Terragen sky, but I'm not sure about the landforms. Real nice scene this is, both foreground and background.
