Confused quacks
So many males! No wonder they’re all confused! There are about 3 times as many quacks as seen in this photo. The rest are doing a bee-line (er, quack-line!) to where the idiot who doesn’t feed them is standing with that camera! The first arrivals, darn them(!), stepped on my (not so blue anymore!) suede shoes!
Ah, yes, that was Elvis Presley. Did he suffer a step mishap here, resulting in a world famous song?
When the quacks come, the ravens, crows, magpies and sea gulls flee to higher ground or branches. I wonder why? Aggressive quacks?
Enjoy! Now, if they only could sing “Blue Suede Shoes”!

Great capture! At least they're not geese - them I'm afraid of!

so you have Mallards there also. they get along with the other water fowl here for the most part.

Birds of a feather congregate in an effort to find food, in this cold damp scene.

So, they see you standing there with a camera, but no food, and still they come - and step on your not-so-blue suede shoes.... Hmmmm. Not a group of very wise-quackers, are they?
(You may now groan...)
A very handsome group of quackers in any case. I've not seen that unbalanced of a male-female ratio since high school!

It's a cute group, and I suspect they were very curious at you, and at the camera.
