Description
Ok... Recap: External with my runtimes kicked the bucket... When I plugged in my backup, it was dead too. And, this newest PC is only reading about one in every three backup CD or DVDs with Poser installers from the past... So, I just have to recover files where I can. While I still don't have a new external drive, I decided to do a small trial run to see if my organizational ideas for rebuilding my runtimes from the ground up will work. So, I organized a few things and installed them in temporary runtimes on C (main) drive. I pretty much only installed Ichiro (1 & 2) and Kyle (and their respective stuff) since they will be sharing a runtime when I get a new external.. The only other thing I have installed is "Walls Abound" (what a great set, I'd forgotten all it's great options).
Ah... So, this is for mapps. Here's to you: You're a great artist and exceptionally kind and generous human being. Thank you for your help and kindness. Not to mention all the great Poser stuff you build. And the great pictures you post. ;)
I know this a bit sparse. I literally have nothing else installed. Unfortunately, C drive is only as 1 TB drive... And my best guess is I have around 600+ gigs (when expanded an installed into runtimes) of Poser content to rebuild runtimes with... Maybe I'll try to work on this idea some more when I have some more toys installed in new runtime homes.
Verdict. I think my organization method is going to work. It's time consuming. But my two test runtimes are nice and organized. For the curious, this is Ichiro 1 and The Claus set (used to be at Faerie-dreams.com) along with clothing pack 5 and "Little Mages' (used to be at Faerie-dreams.com).
The hat is an old freebie... I think it was one of Traveler's...
Rendered in Poser Pro 2014.
Thanks for looking.
