You know what else this made me think of? In Alice's Restaurant when Arlo Guthrie sang about going to get enlisted into the army and had to go and sit on a different bench because he got arrested for littering. LOL.

This really is something very special, as inviting, Mike. You have a great imagination. I like it to imagine this bench is floating in the air, and I'm hoping it will pick me op to go with it on a cool trip. Is there someone who will together with me? ;-)

I had to look this one up---I heard "Alice's Restaurant" a million times, years back; but I don't remember a thing. It's pitiful. So I read the lyrics...So this is the place for all the outcasts, robbers, revolutionaries, grubby people, etc etc. And hippies. It looks very ominous, an outpost for rejects (of the Army, and whatever else he had in mind). The one focussed thing is the bench, and it's dark and splintered and uninviting. Fun and funny piece---the outcast's corner, which is where a lot of artists come from anyway. Delightful, Mike.
