Description

I started in art with architectural rendering. I wasn't an architect, but I studied its forms with a few architects. It remains one of my loves to this day. This is from the suburbs... I've commented on half of you now, I'll get the other half tomorrow. Thanks for all your comments and support: They're always greatly appreciated! m Please zoom for details -------------------------------

This is a sweet and beautiful home - I wonder what it looks like on the inside? Wonderful capture!

I like the way you framed this so tightly, with very narrow side borders. Also the sepia-like coloring, the variations of light & dark & especially the shadows on the roof. And the house itself has a lot of character...

The sepia tone really elevates above the ordinary. And your treatment of the picture makes parts of it look like a rendering, mostly around the windows and roof shingles.

You do these SO well; take a relatively ordinary house and give it so much drama and vision. I love these old stately homes, and i also wonder who lives there and what they're like!!

wow, the lines and details in this are amazing; I especially like the tiles on the roof in the shadows. some of the windows are dark and some are light and that adds a real air of mystery to this place... I want to see the inside.

Fine POV to capture your signature lighting contrasts, with shadows yet, in this one, Mark. Ah yes, it must be refreshing to have such a quasi elegant structure in your suburbs. I live in a basically expansive one story milieu.

This just 'pops' - I love this, Mark! The contrast gives this such a wonderful fine-art feel. The two trees framing the doorway seem to invite you in for a relaxed cup of good coffee, and conversation. Superb, just superb!

I started out to be a draftsman studying in high school and college. worked for steel fabricator companies and also for an architect.

that is how I learned to do carpentry and do building. this house that you captured reminds me of the mansions I worked on for 20 years. superb work Mark
