Description

Captured way back on 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show held at the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California. With those appendages, quite different than the usual run of orchids. Good for a ZOOM.

I'm skipping around because I want to get some of your recent images too. Helle's absent for an eye rest, because it got really bad again; but when she comes back, I think she'll love this capture. Rich and opulent, and such variety of shape, color and hue. And lots of light coming from everything---you got vivid light here. And yes, those petals are most unusual; but they're like big ceremonial dances in the lap of all those leaves. Beautifully done and captured.
