Just a quick portrait of the heroine of the story I've been working on. Her name is Jennifer Worthy, but her friends call her Kweh-kweh, which loosely translates as "Little Duck." She's a young Native American woman, age 14, five-foot-nothing and feisty, with a singing voice that's been compared to Ann Wilson back in the day. When she's not rehearsing or getting involved in mischievous high-jinks with her BFFs Moose and Twitch, she's working to save her cousin ("kissing cousin!" she reminds me to point out) Arthur from the extraterrestrial hussy who's holding him captive.
