Oh my, Lake Michigan with an upset stomach, if this cool capture is of any testimony. I like the texture of the water. And, again, strong light against deep dark, as is your wont. Glad to have you back, Mark, if even for a short visit.

I love the angle of this shot; the BIG lake and its BIG waves, with the city in the background. Not your usual shot, but so very effective!!

Interesting to see the waves breaking with the city in the immediate background. A very unique shot, Mark! One of the advantages of living next to an inland sea, which is what those lakes are.

I'd love the sound coming off that stormy lake (I'm one of those weird people that falls asleep to the sound of downtown traffic).

There is so much to admire on this spectacular photo. The building does have such warm colours, the windows, trees and cars are a most fantastic moody background to all the kind of excesses the water forms. Its anyway also clever photography!!!

A veritable mushroom cloud of water! That's an amazing capture. I'm somehow never able to click at just the right time to get the really good stuff. This is impressive!

A really fantastic shot. Love these waves and even the color of the lake as it is there. I have seen many wonderful shots of the lake against the city and I will never be tired of it.

I cannot believe this image is for real ? - but remembering, when you were very young and how you ventured out with a very young Damsel, seemingly in distress, when it was icy, freezing cold, snowy wet and you tried to rescue her... (mind you, without much success, as she left you behind and was home before you). IOW - you were once more very brave, to weather these elements here, namely another storm, to get the shot/capture of a lifetime. Bravo Mr.T. !!!

Apologies for being so tardy, with my commentary as of late, Mark - but life has lately been very hectic... [to say the least], hopefully it can all go back to 'normal' very soon and I will try to rectify my absence from Rendo and being able to post more delicious things, there is plenty of that just waiting to be released. The good thing about being late is also advantageous, because I can read everybody's impression and opinion first, which can be very interesting, it makes me think a bit harder and that is a good thing, exercising the grey matter... 😋
