from this view maybe it can be seen why the building has a red appearance. the red dirt road for one thing!!

just back for one tonight, Richard (big work load), will be back for more next week. But somehow you make a single, almost desolate structure look like poetry. the boarded up windows make this feel desolate, but your composition lets it be monumental. The detail is strong, and yet it's mixed with a shadowed feeling that makes it feel recessive, nostalgic. Wonderfully composed and done, with that beautiful ochre road to the side. It's always a pleasure to see your photography.
