Several photos of the Milwaukee class of river monitors have survived, but none as close as this. I post-processed my previous Patrolling the River render in Corel Photo Paint using, among effects, one of Ron's Antique Glass Plates. The sailors are M4 wearing Slosh's Naval Uniform. The officer on the turret is Lorenzo Lorez wearing Varsel's Lores US-CS officer's uniform. The environment is the lake and sky dome from DAZ's Lake Village. The gulls are from the Hivewire3D Flock Formations. The monitor is my own Winnebago and the wake is from Spacebone's Wakes OBJ collection. I added a fishing boat from DAZ's Lake Village for visual interest in the background. Scene composed and rendered in Poser 11.
