First, I know you've had health problems for some months now, and I'm very sorry it's been so hard for you. You also said you would have an eye operation...I've seen all your uploads, to the present: I hope I didn't miss any announcements. The last you mentioned your eyes---if I remember correctly---you will be having an operation in August. So, Ute, I wish you all the best with it, and I hope you heal completely; and I hope you have much better sight afterwards. I'm very happy you have your wonderful family and grandchildren. I hope your health will improve, so you can enjoy them, and everything else, all the more.
This is a very mysterious image...it's a dark image, it feels like a dark train station, or perhaps the Metro (subway). Or perhaps it's a dark cellar, where this man is dreaming up some sinister plan. The person behind him is looking at him suspiciously, maybe even with fear. You used great lighting here, real drama, and the colors on the man (Aram?) are beautifully done. Also, you've used some kind of palette-knife technique, and it's quite expressive, quite powerful. You even applied the technique over the frame, itself. Quite effective. I know you're not able to use your regular (beloved) software, but you've been experimenting, and trying all kinds of expressive techniques; and you've produced some stunning results. With many commenters above, I think this is mysterious and stunning.
