Description

We are at the Ashgrove Village Fete held on a lovely day last summer. In a quiet corner local aristocracy Lady Clarissa (she has appeared before in the gallery) is about to present trophy’s for the local dog show. First prize will be going to Sally Arnold’s hairy mutt Tiddles after Clarissa has finished her preamble. Pongo (another gallery veteran) is in attendance and as usual he fancies being the centre of attention…….. ‘So Sally, it gives me great pleasure to present Tiddles with the 1916 trophy’ Daz Iray with log added via Faststone. This is my first play with ‘Look At My Hair’ free edition on Tiddles. To be honest this image and the sequel I’m working on have really tested my pc to the limit not least due to Tiddles coat. The image far exceeded my graphic card memory and reverted to the cpu boiling away at 100%.....I didn’t fancy cooking my hardware for hours so only rendered the image to 25%

That looks pretty darn good for 25%! Six people, and three dogs - along with all the other stuff... Yeah, that could take some resources.... Most impressive!

Excellent image ! A lot of details and even a big big wolf ! If I may give you my advice you should render several times with, say, two or three characters each time and merge the renders in Photoshop or the Gimp...

Love the boxer in your cool scene! Had one named Hercules. Best pal ever! Miss him a lot. Drool and all! All those pets deserve a trophy!.
