This render took as long, or longer, than the week or so it took me to figure out how to make a reasonable likeness of Alistair with zbrush and DAZ. I had to redo the sculpt three times for personal perfection reasons, and another two times because zbrush crashed. This Elrond was based on Hugo Weaving's features playing the beloved Tolkien character, but the real reason it took so long is that I couldn't find suitable elven male hair. So I hand-painted it in photoshop. Which is, I think, a form of torture for some artists. Anway, enjoy! Thanks for looking!
