Description

Picture out our backyard facing the River. The bank on the other side is where the shrubs can be seen in the background. It snowed all night, now all day and expected into the late night. Travel in many parts of Manitoba is impossible. Most Hi-ways are closed and many cars stranded. Driving in town is slow and dangerous, because there are people walking about. Weather Live is calling our area a Winter Storm --- -14c with wind chill feels like -26 . I am like the school children--- Staying inside having a Snow Day. Thanks for the look and or comments, both are much appreciated.

Oh my gosh! We had howling winds and wildfires all day yesterday. Thankfully none were close to us. It's still warm here.....I don't envy you! Stay safe, stay warm.

I find it very convenient when Mother Nature remembers to our memory ... in France in 1946, we had easily 80 centimeters of snow ... ten years ago we had no snow in the parking lot!

when I was a child, I seen other children playing in the snow. I thought I wanted also. about 5 minutes and I was back inside

very beautiful capture. all we had this winter was a dusting of snow.

our high temperature was 71 F but that was a few minutes after midnight. it stayed in the low 60's this afternoon

We have a lot of snow here on the east coast too. Some freezing rain today also makes driving anywhere an adventure only for the brave or foolhardy. Also going to drop down to -22C, so that should be fun. Ya winter... ❄ :(

A fine looking landscape shot Glenda, there is something very beautiful about this... I simply love this image, despite you feeling the cold so much, but there is hope of a nice Springtime soon to follow and then Easter ! happy, happy, joy, joy !

Talking about the weather... sorry guys, cannot oblige - nor complain of snow ! we are still experiencing a never-ending heatwave ca. 28-30 C = [82-86 F] and it's Autumn now !
