but yet the plant will survive. I have heard before that a thick coating of ice on plants can enable them to survive the very low temperatures. superb capture

Stunning capture of the gaping jaws of ice. Now if that doesn't look menacing, I don't know what does. I wonder if that's a bear trap encased in all of that ice.
